John is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) and is listed in the Best Lawyers in America, Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers and Super Lawyers. John is a former member of the Executive Committee of the Taxation Section of the State Bar of California and the Past-Chair of the Estate and Gift Tax Committee of the Taxation Section of the State Bar of California. John is also a former adjunct faculty member of the Golden Gate University Masters in Tax Program. Other groups in which John is a member include the Santa Clara County Estate Planning Council; San Francisco Estate Planning Council; and the Silicon Valley Bar Association.
John is a frequent lecturer and author of topics involving family limited partnerships/limited liability companies and representing clients in tax controversy issues before the IRS and U.S. Tax Court.
John is licensed to practice in California. He received his law degree from Tulane University School of Law in New Orleans in 1990 and his B.A. from University of Montana in 1987. While at Tulane, he received the American Jurisprudence Award for Excellence in Gift and Estate Taxation.

Dennis is a current member of the State Bar of California Taxation and Trusts/Estates Sections, Chair-elect of the State Bar's Estate and Gift Tax Committee, the American Bar Association, the Silicon Valley Bar Association, the Santa Clara County Estate Planning Council and the Santa Clara County Bar Association. Prior to joining Ramsbacher Prokey LLP, Dennis was a Tax Counsel for the El Paso Corporation and Senior Tax Attorney for Arthur Andersen in Houston, Texas.
Dennis is licensed to practice in California and Texas. He received his law degree in 1999 and LL.M.in Taxation in 2003 from the University of Houston Law Center and his B.S. from the University of San Francisco in 1995.

Carolyn is a current member of the State Bar of California Taxation and Trusts/Estates Sections, the Silicon Valley Bar Association, the Santa Clara County Estate Planning Council and the American Bar Association. Prior to joining Ramsbacher Prokey LLP, Carolyn advised clients in the areas of estate planning, estate and trust administration and guardianships at the law firm of Bulman, Dunie, Burke & Feld, Chtd. in Bethesda, Maryland.
Carolyn is licensed to practice in California, Maryland and the District of Columbia. She received her law degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 2004 and her B.A. from Denison University in 2001.

Margo is a current member of the State Bar of California Taxation and Trusts/Estates Sections, the Executive Committee of the Silicon Valley Bar Association, and the Santa Clara County Estate Planning Council. Prior to joining Ramsbacher Prokey LLP in 2007, Margo practiced law in Palo Alto as a sole-practitioner advising high-net worth individuals on estate, business and tax planning. Prior to her change to sole practitioner, her background included corporate law, intellectual property and contract negotiation with Konami America, Inc. and Amoco Corporation in Chicago, Illinois.
Margo is licensed to practice in California. She received her law degree from Northern Illinois University in 1992 and her B.S. from University of Wisconsin, Madison in 1989.
